This is a way to care for yourself in way that will help with your emotions, your sleep, sore muscles - so many things. It’s so simple. And you really only need 15-20 minutes to do it (although you can definitely take longer if you wish!)

I have a little routine I want to share that I think you’re gonna love 🤸♀️
Create the Space:
There are a few things you can add to your bathroom that will entice you to take this regular time out of your day.
A 1.5 gallon glass jar full of epsom salts. I will also pop my empty essential oil bottles in here to draw the last few drops of oil out into the salts.
And I keep a scoop in or right on top of the jar for easy portioning.
Next to this is a smaller glass jar of baking soda.
And then a little assortment of my fave bath essential oils on a tray (scroll down to see some combinations)
Oh and here’s a bamboo tub tray that’s so perfect for having your fave bath items at your fingertips …
I keep my simple doTERRA self care products, a diffuser + a big glass jar of water for drinking while I soak.
The Routine:
Dim the lights and get a pretty diffuser going with your favorite oils (I like to use the ones I’m adding to my bath so the aromas don’t compete). Try a diffuser that has some soft lights … a great alternative to toxin-laden candles.

Run the water and 1/2 cup epsom salts + 1/4 cup baking soda to it which will alkalize the water, cleanse + soften the skin.
Note - water filtration is very wise to consider …you can buy a simple tub filter if you don’t have a whole home water filter.
In a little glass bowl, add 1/2c epsom salts and about 3 tbsp carrier oil; just enough to make the salts spreadable.
Add 4-6 drops doterra of choice to the bowl and then massage your beautiful concoction into your skin.
Oils I love for a relaxing bath ritual:
💧 Blue tansy + cedarwood (skin love)
💧 Adaptiv (a hug in the tub)
💧 AromaTouch + lavender (soothes muscles)
💧 Vetiver + lavender (deep sleep)
💧 Juniper berry + rosemary (detoxing)
Sink into the water & let the salts dissolve from your skin.
Soak for 20 min while sipping on 20oz of water. My fave tonic is 1/2 lemon squeezed with 2 drops of doTERRA ginger oil.
Before getting out of the tub I like to exfoliate my heels, & this is honestly the best tool I’ve found for that (it’s what they use in the salon when I go for a pedicure).
Careful exiting the tub as it will be a little slippery!
After your soak:
Massage Yarrow Pom body serum into your heels (slip some socks on until it soaks in so you don’t slip)
Then the ultimate: add 4-5 drops of doterra Metabolic blend oil to a few tsp of carrier oil (jojoba or argan are great for this) & massage into stomach, legs & arms. So freakin good!
As you work in the body oil, reflect on the experiences your body has brought you through.
